Sage green is THE colour of the moment. I’m not surprised – I saw in coming back in March when khaki was everywhere. It was only a matter of time that its pastel equivalent came out to play. What’s so fab about ‘sage green’ is that there is a tone and piece for everyone. Whether it’s a rich blazer, a pale jumpsuit, a dingier pair of wide leg trousers, or even a faux leather bag!

I wanted to dedicate a post to this trend because quite frankly I think it fully deserves it. My wardrobe is mainly full of neutral tones – beige, dark beige, light beige and whites – but pastel tones are a great way to add colour to a wardrobe because it’s so easy to wear. Most people have a key ‘pastel’ that they suit (or like) the most and I just think they are so flattering. Yellows enhance a tan, pink is feminine and fun, sky blue is effortlessly cool and well… sage green is sophisticated and clean.

The real front runners for the ‘sage green’ trend this year are Zara and & Other Stories – FULL of amazing pieces from joggers to silky dresses. I can’t get enough of it!
